Southfield Hotel
To ensure an enjoyable stay for everyone we request
that you and each member of your party
(if group booking
) comply with the following guidelines.
These
are legally binding as they form part of your contract
with The Southfield Hotel.
The contract between The Southfield Hotel commences when the booking has been
processed and you have received your written confirmation letter, you should
check confirmation carefully to see that it reflects your wishes.
Please inform us of any discrepancies within seven days, unless your holiday
is to start within fourteen days in which case you should inform us within
24 hours.
The person who signs the reservation form is responsible
for the booking and warrants that he / she is over 21
years of age.
The
person who pays the holiday by credit / debit card
or cheque must be present on the holiday with the appropriate
authorized card. On arrival to us an imprint of the card
will be taking and the card holder will be asked to sign
a docket as confirmation that authority was giving by
them to debit the said amount , this must be done before
we can check you and your guests in to the Hotel
Pets are not permitted,
Cancellation/change of dates
The balance of charges for the accommodation must be received no later than
6 weeks prier to the commencement date of your holiday.
Failure to comply with the condition may result in a loss of your deposit and
the cancellation of your booking. A reminder will not be sent.
Once
a booking has been made any subsequent alterations
in dates which require a new confirmation will incur
an administration charge of £10.
No refund will be given due to unforeseen circumstances
i.e.; weather.
Damage
to our Property
We ask that you use the Hotel and its contents with care and are responsible
for any and all damage caused to them. Treat the Hotel with consideration,
respect and care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them and leave
the lodge accommodation clean & tidy.
The company will accept no responsibility for guests
own personal property stolen or left unattended.
Smoking
We strictly operate a no smoking policy in The Southfield
hotel.
Smoking is only permitted outside the buildings.
Behavior
You must show consideration for your neighbors and other hotel guests.
Refrain from using loud music of any form i.e.; TV / Radio / Hi Fi equipment
after 11pm.
We reserve the write to ask our guests who contravene our terms and conditions,
or who in any other way are behaving in a manner likely to cause distress or
nuisance to any other guest in the Hotel to leave the accommodation
immediately. In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be
liable for any other costs incurred by you.
In order to protect our guests and staff anyone found to have infections or
contagious diseases or such like conditions will be requested to leave.
You and your guests further agree that you will not;
1 Commit any criminal offence or undertake any criminal offence while booked
into our accommodation
2 Commit any acts of vandalism or nuisance. While booked into our accommodation.
3 Keep or carry any firearm or any other weapon while booked into our accommodation
4 Use any unlawful drugs while booked into our accommodation.
5 Create any undue noise or disturbance while booked into our accommodation.
6 Carry any trade or business (except normal LEGAL employment) while booked
into our accommodation.
Parental Responsibility
Please make adequate arrangements to supervise young children either yourselves
or by a responsible adult at all times.
It is the parents responsibility to ensure there health and safety.
Check that the facilities are suitable for your Childs age.
Please make sure your children behave well and do not disturb other hotel guests
or staff in the course of their duty.
The company does not accept responsibility for their health and safety outwit
minimum standard requirements.
Legislation
Neither under age or extensive drinking is permitted within the Southfield
Hotel
We have strict house rules applicable to Alcohol or any other form of drug.
A notice displaying these rules can be obtained at reception and throughout
the Hotel and Lodge.
Failure to comply
In addition to the remedies above, we may ask you and the rest of your party,
or any group, whose conduct is considered by us ( in our sole discretion)
to infringe these guidelines, to leave immediately. No refunds will be given
in these circumstances.
Friends may NOT stay overnight.
Only named guests are entitled to stay in the Hotel overnight.
If you have a complaint
If you feel dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay with us, please speak
to reception and have your complaint recorded.
If we can not rectify the problem there and then please write within 21 days
of your stay marked for the attention of the MD. To the following address,

Please note that we can not act on any complaint that has not been brought
to the attention of the hotel reception before your departure.
